Otis McClanahan Served during the Korean War. McClanahan was Assigned to the 50th AAA AW BN (SP) (50th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Autonatic Weapons Battalion Self Propelled) “A” Battery. While servening in Korea Mac had many run ins with the North Koreans and finally the Chinese. Mac made two different landings at Inchon. Mac then went north with the 50th. While in the north Mac was involve in the battle at Chosin Reservoir. This is where he became one of the “Chosin Few”. Mac was a Corpral tank commander. |
