They moved to Kentucky around 1858. They then moved to Texas in Jack county. David is listed on the 1870 census. Some time before 1880 David Married Nancy Jane Clay. She is listed on the 1880 census as his wife. Joseph J. McClanahan is the son of Mary. J.J moved near Snate Fe Oklahoma located in present day Stephens County Oklahoma. J.J is listed on the 1900 Indian Territory census. J.J married Lela Maud Russell prior to coming to Oklahoma. J.J had 13 children total.
